Update: unfortunately, this is not the reason. I would never leave a bad review just cos the place is closed. I was in the bar some months ago. We ordered food in Souvlakis (super good) and as my partner wanted to drink some alcohol and it was raining outside, the person in Souvilaki suggested to us to go to Cafe Chaplin to eat our food there and so my partner could have his drink (the restaurant and the cafe are kind of together and allow you to take the food there). My partner ordered his drink and I didn't want anything (I was pregnant at the time and didn't feel like having any water or soft drinks). The waitress told me that I was obliged to order. I explained that they could not force me to order something and that my partner was already drinking so I was just making company. She insists that if I didn't order anything I would need to leave. I found it extremely disrespectful. If I was not there, nothing would change as my partner was sitting in the table and drinking....I was just making him company. No need to say that although I loved the atmosphere of the bar, I never came back there. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

Inappropriate service, went to Dine In and were asked to sit on a 2 pers table ( but we were 4). The whole place was almost empty and waitress was very rude and refused to merge two tables for us... Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Really nice place and very well thought out business plan. It has been originally a bar and they brought in a Greek kitchen to the side of the building where it can accommodate with food. The food is amazing, the alcohol is provided by the bar, and the atmosphere in the bar is spectacular! There's plenty of parking across the street from the bar, but some spaces have been eliminated so you might have to look around the neighborhood. I average there at least once every 2 weeks! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

A very cool bar with a classy wooden style. Quick service and reasonable prices and some really really good Greek grill food built in next door that you can order from.

Amazing greek food. The staff are so friendly and nice. It’s a restaurant and cafe as well. The food was great and the portions are big. The place is cozy and calm. Overall, it worth visiting for sure.

This place speaks for itself. The food is enough to keep you satisfied. The atmosphere is calm and simple. It's also a cafe so there is no need to go there only to enjoy there delicious plates. P.S. special shout out to the staff member who wanted to see my review. Love the place

Very nice food but the common place used with the brasserie next door is not suitable. You order like a take away you pay a restaurant price and you eat in a "local pub" style place. It is noted that half of the tables are tall with stools, which is not convenient for kids.
