Got a table without waiting too long even though it was busy. Took our order right away but had to wait about 55 minutes to get our food. Food was fair nothing too impressive. Good flavor but the rice pilaf I had was dry. Which made me think that it may have been reheated in a microwave. My son’s burger which he ordered medium was pink all the way aside from the crust of the burger. So it was more rare than medium. He said it was also soggy. Made me think even more that food sat a while. We just wanted to get out of there from waiting so long so we did not even bother to return the food. Our server was apologetic for the long wait but overall dining experience was not that great. I don’t know if I’m willing to go back there after this. Was really hoping we could add Caddy Shack to our options of dining out places locally but unfortunately it won’t be from this experience. Sorry but just an honest review of our night out. 2/8/24 back for dinner. I sat alone at the huge bar...(you can feel sorry for me if you want, i survived;) i had the shrimp scampi over pasta, it was good! 10 nice shrimp cooked fine and the pasta was cooked just right too. Good service from Jacoba. 4/22/23 back with friends for dinner. It was good and my friends loved their meals. 8/24/22 first time here. Dinner with my friend. Nice spot and a really big dining room and bar. I had the Mediterranean salmon with the fresh vegetables and pasta on the side. It was good, I'd get it again but i will try other dishes first. I called on a Wednesday to make reservations for Friday. The maître d’ was very pleasant and friendly. Four of us were seated promptly for dinner around 5 o’clock on the second Friday of February. We ordered gator bites and seared Ahi tuna for appetizers. The gator bites were cooked fine but they did not have much flavor, nor did the sauce they were served with. The Aji tuna was quite good and nicely sized. Two of us ordered quail along with fries and coleslaw. The quail was cooked. Perfectly, the coleslaw was excellent (needed to be a bigger bowl) ☺️ The fries were thick and good. One of us ordered grilled salmon. The salmon was good sized and extremely well flavored. I ordered the 8 ounce New York strip cooked medium rare. It came cooked perfectly. That is a good cut of meat and at a fine price for this area. The staff at this establishment all were very friendly and attentive, the place was busy, but not overwhelmed. I was there a couple weeks ago and ordered baked catfish. My husband and I went to Caddy shack for dinner and a couple of drinks last night. Let’s start off by saying that we had the worst experience ever for this place. Mind you this was at 7:30pm on a Saturday. The place was empty, just a few patrons. 6 people sitting at the bar beside us. Not busy at all. We ordered French onion soup ,but no bread was offered. Then we ordered a mushroom burger with fries. I asked for it medium rare. After waiting for 45-50 minutes , I asked the bartender if they had to go to the ranch to get the burger. 5 minutes later she brought it to us. The burger was overcooked, bun was soggy. It didn’t even have the cheese melted. Served to us with a soggy bun to top it off. By the time we got our food, my husband just went ahead and ate it. For fear of having to wait for it to be remade and waiting longer. Then after finally getting her attention we asked the the bill. Even the gentleman sitting next to us complained about the service. To my husband. Horrible service and long wait for a simple burger and fries. The last time we came in on Tuesday food was good and bartender very attentive. Hot food and cold drinks. Her old fashioned recipe was outstanding. Stay away if you don’t want to have to wait for ever for food on Saturday nights. Too bad. Came by for some dinner on the recommendation of a co worker. Surprised I've never heard of this place before! Gabby was a phenomenal server, and the food was very delicious!
