A beautiful restaurant with a great outdoor space for the warmer months, and a cozy quaint indoor space for the colder months. The menu has a variety of food for every preference, and the restaurant is super accommodating if you want to make alterations. My favorite is their mushroom soup for your appetizer, rosa sauce (ask for it to be spicy if you like heat!) with chicken for your entree, and the chocolate mousse for dessert! So so delicious — It has become our go-to restaurant!!

Loved the atmosphere and our service was great. I really loved all the appetizers, but I wasn't a huge fan of the entrees.
Prices are a bit insane - it costs 9 extra dollars to add chicken to your salad?

Go here!! The pictures online don't do it justice. As you walk up the brick pathway towards the custom "Byrsa Bistro" sign, you're instantly transported to an almost fairytale-like backyard garden with plenty of tables for outdoor dining, adorned with string lights that really just make it the most beautiful atmosphere. Stepping inside the restaurant, you're surrounded by cozy tables and eclectic decor. The old house that the restaurant is in must have so much history. We even walked down into the basement to check out the wine cellar - so cool! We ate on the main floor close to the centrally located bar. It really just has a cozy family feel while also being an upscale restaurant. They played some great music which added to the whole atmosphere.
We brought our own wine (BYOB with no corking fee, yay !), and we ordered the Mediterranean Sampler as our appetizer. Our absolute favorite part was the warm fresh pita in the roasted vegetable puree! We then got the paella and the chicken gnocchi, both of which were delicious. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive. Thank you to our server, Rami! You were wonderful! We will definitely be back!

First time back here in a year. We used to love this little out if the way hidden gem. The interior is quite unique and the vibe is intriguing. We were excited to introduce our friends to this place.
What a disappointment! The service was slow (slower than usual). Two of us received dishes that were significantly different than the menu described. And the chicken and pasta were both over-done! C'mon, that's some basic stuff right there.
Drinks were good though.

The food was amazing and the hospitality was second to none. What a setting! It is our new favorite restaurant. If you have not tried Byrsa Bistro in Glenn Mills you are missing out on a true local gem and a touch of Mediterranean’s finest cuisine!

Had an amazing experience here for a friends birthday. We ate outside where you could see the creek and enjoy the outdoors. The Saturday fixed menu was amazing, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. I had the local mushroom soup and paella which was great, with plenty of seafood. Please put a prominent sign outside, I almost missed this place! I’ll be sure to come back!
I really enjoyed the Mediterranean Sampler, my Seafood Paella and the packed the leftover Short Rib pizza for lunch the next day. The location is really scenic and right next door to the West Chester Railroad Glen Mills station which my son loved.

Came to Byrsa for lunch while vacationing here in PA from NJ for a few days and had a really great experience! We ordered mixed berry daiquiri's, lamb pizza, Mediterranean salad and hazelnut gelato... and everything was delicious! We sat out back on the green, just us 2 and it was beautiful. Food was delicious, staff was extremely friendly and hospitable and atmosphere was very pleasant. Really pretty house setting with large green yard. Overall 5 stars and definitely recommended for a nice, quiet lunch with a view.
Everything was super delicious! The stuffed grape leaves were the best I ever had in the Mediterranean appetizer. We got the lamb shank and seafood Paella for dinner. And an espresso creme brulee for dessert.
Kennett Square Location - Food was decent, although at the fine dining prices there are certainly other options in the KS area for better quality at or below the cost of Byrsa. Appetizers were very good. Salads OK. Main dish flavors were good, but each of the seafood dishes our table guest got were overcooked, and $26 for a small bowl of past bolognese brings down the rating. The server and bartender were pleasant enough, but apparently new to their jobs, with clearly neither being trained in even the basics. The hardest to understand was the ambiance, the choice of cool color light bulbs instead of warm white gave everything a too bright and harsh look. That, along with combining ultra modern art on the walls paired with an old wagon wheel, it is hard to understand what the intent really is. Nice that it was a no corkage charge BYOB that has a PA sourced only liquor license.
