What a place! Hidden gem and worth the drive if you are not from the area. Everything from start to finish was amazing. We had appetizers, entrees and desserts. It all was fabulous! To have the actual Chef/owner come to your table to check in is unheard of now. Small, very intimate dining so we felt very comfortable and cozy. Our server was top notch and was on top of everything. We will definitely go back and bring new guests to the location. This was our first time visiting. There were no reservations left, but when we called, they said they would be sure to have a table for us! We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, rack of lamb, pasta limon, tomato basil soup, and espresso creme brulee. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was top notch! We cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Tomato Basil Soup

I had the filet for main course and the apple tart for desert. Very tasty. Also the mushroom appetizer was amazingly good. The service was also excellent. My water was refilled many times and every course the server was attentive and made sure we were all happy. No complaints, 5 stars. Servers are amazing here. They are super fast, the head cook (assuming he is the owner) checked in, the atmosphere is elegant and can be loud inside. Reservations are definitely recommended for this place as the parking lot is small. Food wasn't wowing and is the only reason for the lighter review. My partner and I visited Buona Sera last evening. We enjoyed the food, it was good- nothing super exciting. But, we felt that there was a huge miss on our server’s part by failing to mention prices of items. Our server listed the specials to us for the evening and my partner ordered her recommendation of the Surf & Turf with the Filet Mignon. We knew this menu item was going to be more expensive. But, our server never shared the price. We didn’t know the price until we got our bill. The price was $70, which caught us off guard as the rest of the menu items were all under $40. We know mistakes happen, but that’s a pretty penny to pay for what the quality of the dish was… and considering the cost of the other menu items. Specials usually aren’t any more than $10-$15 over the average price of a meal on a menu- I’ve been in the industry for 10 years and have never seen a rip off like we had. We probably won’t be back….just a bummer. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Cannoli
The atmosphere was fantastic! With a fire in the background and the best Italian on the table. The meal was perfect! We were taken care of gracefully by Stacy, she treated us like family. The fillet was the most tender, melt in your mouth, plate of godliness I have ever tasted! The halibut was on point with a cream I couldn’t soak up fast enough. Even their house bread was delicious. Best gelato in the twin cities. We will definitely be back! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100

What a gem! The place is intimate and feels like the Italian steakhouses I'd go to in St. Louis in the Italian district. Service top notch. The server treated us like regulars even though it was our first time. Fantastic wine selection and the server chose the perfect bottle for the table. Best filet of my life. Cooked absolutely perfectly and perfectly rare like I ordered. Everything comes with sides and salads/soup. We got one dessert to split and more to take home to husbands and they were all spectacular. So glad this place is in my options now and can't wait to take others. We had reservations and pulled up thinking maybe we didn't need them, but on a Tuesday the place filled quickly. Celebrating a birthday with another couple who had been here before. Our waiter, Max was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the dishes and wine choices. Enjoyed hearing his descriptions of the entrees and specials. Calamari could have been a bit crispier but, still were very fresh and flavorful. We opted for seafood tonight with my partner's Walleye Almondine scoring a big thumbs up. Very moist, thick filet wasn't plastered with large slices of almonds so it accented the delicious fish instead of overwhelming it. Colorful bean and carrot side really made the plating pop. My Lobster Ravioli had a generous amount of delicious lobster pillows and a scattering of shrimp and scallops in a savory cream based sauce. The additional of the pesto was a great idea since it lightened the sauce a bit. Was extremely delicious and really wanted to lick the bowl! Seafoods were all perfectly cooked and Max's Chardonnay recommendation was excellent. Only wish there was a bit of color on top. Maybe some minced red pepper and chives. A single medallion of lobster would have been super. The Birthday girl's New York Strip was cooked to order and seasoning on point. Scallops were a bit small but, had a delicious garlic butter. Really enjoyed the attention given to plating here. Very evident with the desserts. I love the family feel to the place and really appreciated the effort put into making sure the guests have a great experience. Even had the head chef coming around to tables to chat. Had a wonderful evening and will be back soon. Very well done! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Lobster Ravioli

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was her first time dining there. We had an absolutely lovely time, great atmosphere, amazing food, and amazing drinks too. We also had really great interactions with our waitress, Samantha, who was fun and professional. If you get the chance, the walleye crab cakes, limoncello cake, aperol spritz, and lobster ravioli were positively mind blowing. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100
very nice restaurant - the staff is amazing! we arrived a bit early for our reservation and the place was pretty empty still, so we got to watch the staff enjoy each other and get ready for the dinner rush. Definitely an old school vibe inside with original recipes and menu offerings; we ordered Bruschetta, Steak Cacciatore, Zuppa de Pesce and had a house salad and a Caesar salad to go with our meals - bread service is also included when you sit down. We also order dessert (I can't recall what mine was, but it was something along the lines of a mascarpone lemon cake) and the hubs got chocolate lava cake (which is something he is always on the hunt to find the best one); the cake was good but the lava cake didn't have any 'lava', it was solid in the middle, which was a bummer, but he said it still tasted good. Everything was really good and we left stuffed - by the time we left the restaurant was bustling! A true neighborhood gem in this area. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50
