Bully ranch is a good place. Its casual, it has TV's with sports on, good burgers, comfort food. Its Vail, so its expensive. Like $28 for a burger, but at least for the price, its pretty good and comes with fries. Horrible service and below average food. Making a reservation required a deposit- but despite booking same day at 5 pm for a 7:30 pm reservation, open table said we had to call to change it. No answer multiple times, just a voicemail they stop checking at 2 pm. So we showed up when open table still said tables available at 7, but didn’t get seated until 7:45- the hostess was just confused and disorganized. We ended up sitting at the bar and apparently our server hurt her ankle shortly after taking our order. No explanation, no one else came to check on us for over an hour (the restaurant was mostly cleared out at that point, not busy, but tons of servers around). No one was at the bar at all for an hour to even ask about our order. When someone finally brought the food out, it was very cold. Waited another 30 minutes after finishing eating then asked another bartender for the check, who was rude about it. I can’t believe they didn’t comp our meal or a manager didn’t apologize for the awful service. No wonder this place always has open reservations, unlike most restaurants in Vail. Bully Ranch is our favorite restaurant on Vail. Their Nachos and wings are amazing appetizers. The ribs and cheesecake are a must. Diego was amazing.
