Beautiful place and great service. Food was very tasty, including the children meals. The only disadvantage was that they didn’t have much to offer for my vegetarian friend (one overpriced pasta meal) and that they had only two kinds of fish on the menu. Delicious seafood at reasonable price, with great location and rapid service. These are “3 restaurants in 1”, with one restaurant being casual and with simple menu card, a medium-level restaurant, and a more sophisticated one with the longest menu card. We ate in the middle and were very satisfied of food, service, and atmosphere. The outdoor terrace was just great, where we enjoyed a lovely Summer evening. Classic sea food inspired menu with herring, prawns and such in focus. Classic “Skåne” dishes combined with fish & chips type meals. Restaurant is slightly more upscale but there’s also a kiosk like hatch where you can get the more basic dishes to pick up. BUT - The building is, at least from an architectural standpoint, absolutely horrible. It’s unfortunate that someone allowed it to become a central pockmark in the otherwise beautiful hamlet of Kivik; Either way; Herring sandwiches were really good and decently priced at 96kr And by all means! These guys know their fish, let me get that out of the way first! Fresh, extremely tasty and presented very nicely. The staff is really knowledgeable and friendly. The business exudes professional flair and besides fish, you'll also find a lot of other tasty things. Shop to your hearts (or stomachs?) delight!

Classic seafood venue at Österlen. A must when in Kivik! Great shop with lots of great produce but the rater new buildt restaurant is really fabulous. Nordic rustique but elegant decor, warm and attentive staff, local wines (!) and really good food. Highly recommended!

The place has a great view of the harbor and the sea. We arrived close to closing hour , yet they took our order and told us to find a table and wait. We sat outside,on the terrace. The water and cutlery are nwar the entrance to the terase and it's self-service. Pro: The meal was very tasty and the view is great. The Silla pilsner 3.5% is a good beer. The were quite fast in bring drinks considering that they were almost full inside as well as outside. It's a drop in place, no reservations in advance are needed. Negative: We waited quite a while for the food. I received only 2 small potatoes on my meal. Tip: Bring a warm jacket if you're planning to stay on the terrace in the evening, it gets cold and windy.

The shop and fastfood window outside were closed at 16:00 on weekend so we had to order food in the restaurant. Räkmacka was made without eggs. They brought all the food at once, so we had to eat cold pancakes and drink cold coffee. They did not even bother to bring cutlery and napkins. No free water. Very expensive price - 929 SEK for 4 shrimp snacks, 2 pancakes and one cup of coffee. Not tasty. Staff has zero understanding of service. Will not visit again.

Ok place, the fish dishes didnt taste that much but the sauces was ok! Quite nice location! All of the dishes had to be ordered in a bar which made it super slow and created a feeling of Mc Donalds.

Good food. Nice views over the beach/docks. Have dog water bowl and kid chairs. Nearby chess court and boule court. And nearby icecream shop. A few tables even outside the restaurant.
