Went here tonight while here on business and what a great place to eat and hang out! Food, service and atmosphere was great!! Our server Crystal made it even better by just being delightful while herself was busy. I will be moving here soon and going to make this a regular place to visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Normally I don’t write long reviews, but after lunch today I want to write my experience for others to see. To start… if I could have a way to hit more stars for a review on Buddyz I would😁. My family and I walked in and were seated around 1:00pm on a Sunday afternoon during football season. It was slammed and the hostess still seated us right away. Something happened in regards to getting a server over to us, after 20 minutes we thought it was odd that no one had come up to our table. People aren’t perfect and we understand stuff like that happens, and once the servers/manager were aware they did everything they could to make sure we were still happy with the service. It was much appreciated from all of us!! The quality of the food was amazing, and from that point the service was great. Buddyz came off to us as a business that does what’s needed to stay true to a 10/10 standard for themselves. Definitely going back again. I'm only giving the food 4 stars for some inconsistency here and there. But overall, it's pretty bomb. Honestly, it's my family's favorite restaurant in McHenry. The bar isn't high, but Buddy'z still stands out. It's the best summer spot with their patio, and the breakfast is really good. I wish there were more options like crepes and such, but it's alright, it caters to the crowd of McHenry. The waiters and waitresses so far have all been quite lovely and nice. Everyone who goes so far is nice and respectful, although I wish there wasn't any smoking allowed nearby the patios in the summer or by the walkways because it really just spoils the taste and energy when walking in and eating. Sean's great and always treats everyone like family, so I have nothing but kind words for him and his crew. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I love this place. The pizza is phenomenal, but don't stop there because the salads and pasta dishes are very flavorful. The breakfast menu is to die for. Sat at the bar. Had a chocolate martini and a steak sandwich to go. Bartender was excellent -- can't remember her name, but loved her teal hair.
