We stopped in New Gloucester on Sunday around 12:30 to grab a quick bite and to check out their peanut butter stout. I was hoping to add a can of it to my 4 pack, but unfortunately, they're not able to offer it in cans at this time. I did try a sample, it was very nice. We ordered the brisket tacos and drunken tots. Sounds lovely, doesn't it? Sadly, it wasn't. The tots had minimal beer cheese and shredded cheese just in the middle. The poor outer tots were dry and neglected looking. Beer cheese? That's a bit of an embellishment. I would say more "essence " of beer cheese? Wasn't a fan. So on to the brisket tacos!! It's brisket! In a taco. With slaw. How can you go wrong? Well they did. Aggressively so. The flavor was good with a nice smokiness. But it was dry. DRY BRISKET!! Brisket is, by all accounts, wonderful and juicy. I was disappointed. I would have mentioned it to our server/cashier if at any point he had come to ask even the minimalistic "how's everything so far?", but he never did. One of the disadvantages of paying when you order at the counter and before you're served, I suppose. I did mention to him when I went to grab rings for my build your own 4 pack that while the flavor was nice, it was all soooo dry. Looking annoyed, he told us it's their most ordered item. I bet him that if it's that dry all the time, it's probably their least re-ordered one. I won't go back. Even if I do like my beers. Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I've been to almost all of the BH locations and this one is just not quite the same, but I think they are working hard to make improvements. I read some of the really low reviews and I didn't have an experience like that, but it was not quite a 4 or 5. The food menu is the same, but it seemed like our pizza was cooked longer or something because the crust was really different. It was still good pizza, but I've had it so many times, I knew what I was planning to get and it wasn't. The cocktails lists are NOT all the same and not all as good as the original location in Y town. I ordered an old fashioned. The bartender forgot and was getting other drinks for people and I finally asked if she was going to make my old fashioned and she just nodded without apologizing. Then I watched her make it and I thought it was a drink for someone else because it looked like a mixed drink full of ice, nothing like the lovely old fashioned I get in y town, and there was some mixer in it. I'm not sure what she made, but it had a cranberry/vanilla taste, and like I said, it was a full drink to the top with ice. Please consider having similar cocktails at your locations, or at least some of the staples, and that they know how to make them. One more thing--the space is huge, which is excellent, but the warehouse lights are TERRIBLE! I know they were there when it was NU (and they were terrible then), but all the other locations are cozy and this spot is so bright and feels cold. Can you get covers to make them less bright? I know they make them for office fluorescent lights, so there's gotta be something. While this location is the closest to me, I will likely drive to the second closest, which I think has the best cocktail list and service. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Stopped here on a whim and had amazing food/drinks. Everything is so fresh, staff is so nice, and service is speedy. I got the fish and chip bowl and my boyfriend got the clam chowder. The portion sizes are also perfect. I don’t usually leave reviews but this place is definitely my new favorite!! Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

If you haven’t tried this place you really need to. Especially when Jimmy is in the kitchen. You can taste the love and passion he puts into every dish. The mashed potato pizza I never thought would be good, but it’s been my favorite so far. Keep killing it Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Meat Pizza

Went in mid day after things had settled from the recent storm. Our poor waitress was the only server in a very packed dining room. She was also manning the bar. She was very friendly and did a great job. Our cocktails were pretty good, food was hot and well executed. Ordered the Kolsch which had a great flavor profile. Our waitress (again) was super friendly and continued to work hard juggling all the needs of the late lunch crowd. I want to go back as it is near home and has all the makings of a cute neighborhood spot, but I need to mention the lights. The owners did a nice job with their signature decorating ( the previous establishment was cold and uninviting - almost medicinal). The ceiling light fixtures are holdovers from the previous owners and they almost ruin the whole vibe. Fluorescent and not dimmable. It’s too bad because the new owners added stylish lights and little white xmas lights, but the giant fluorescent light fixtures blaring overhead negate the quant vibe they are attempting to create. I really like Brickyard’s food and beer and have enjoyed the Yarmouth and Freeport locations many times, but I am hoping they rectify the airport lighting in this new location. Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
