The food was great! I had the Tex-Mex Chicken sandwich and fries. Both the burger and fries were perfectly cooked. They were out of the beer I ordered, but the one I got instead was a fruity nitro that was very good. My friend had an Old Fashioned and it was very good. She said her Shrimp Po’ Boy was good too. The bartender was not great. He got us everything g we asked for, but he was not personable at all. The temperature in the bar are was very cold. Both of us were shivering by the time we left. I would eat here again if I am ever I. The are, but this definitely was not a 5-star visit. I hosted a work event a Breakwater Monona recently and I can not tell you how happy we were with our choice! From the staff's accommodations, to the atmosphere, to the delicious food. I have been here for brunch before and had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, I tried to go to brunch there this morning and, after waiting for 20 minutes, with one employee walking by me three times, we were never acknowledged nor offered a table.
