Adorable bakery that gives back to the neighborhood. Food was served quickly and piping hot. Nothing like a great soup and sandwich. I've been here several times. Pastry is wonderful. Outdoor seating and the building is so welcoming - looks like a fairytale house. Love it there. I hate to write this but our beloved Bread Basket is not what it used to be. The cakes still kick butt!! But the pastries are not the same. When they removed the maple twist it was a disappointment but we wanted to give it a chance still after it changed ownership. But this is the last time. The pastries are dry and lack the filling and quality they used to have. The pastries are like giant buns with a lot of breading and little else. The sticky bun was far from sticky and dry. The cinnamon bun had barely any cinnamon swirl. I thought it may be a fluke the first couple times but I guess this is the new norm for them.

Ordered 4 loaves of cinnamon swirl bread at $8 each... Got it home and sliced it for toast - no cinnamon swirl! A little bit of cinnamon sugar sprinkled on top. What a disappointment! Needless to say, should I ever be back in the area, I'll never order there again. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $30–50
