A return trip to Bobo's after far too long of time. It's like I was here yesterday, even though it has been years. It's the same great burgers, chili, and apple pie. But the real reason I came back was the onion rings.
As the title says: House of the divine onion rings. The coating is perfect, not too thick, doesn't peel off, and most importantly, isn't soggy at all. The perfect balance!
The staff was superb, friendly, sassy, and completely welcoming. They treated me just like those who were notable regulars.
If you're in Topeka, Bobo's is the place to go for the perfect drive-in experience.

Just loved it! The double cheeseburger was excellent, as were the fries. In fact, I think of the burger often, even though it's been several months since I ate there. Every time I drive near this place, I'll be stopping again. I ate inside one time ages ago, but this time I opted for the car hop service, which was great. I can see how the car hop spaces could fill up quickly at prime lunch and dinner hours, but I arrived a little after 11am and there were a few spots available. Best burger, I've had in several years. The residents of this town are very lucky to have a place like this with all the history, and still turning out great food, very jealous

Ok. I haven't left a review in awhile but I can't pass this one up. So all the 5 star reviews are correct. None of them are false. These are the types of places that preserve America. I love the counter. However, the inside is not large; which is a typical style of diner from 75 years ago. That's what makes them so unique. One point to make, there is no bathroom. It's such a local favorite, nobody cares though. That steakburger is extremely good! Plus they paid You should come.
