Food was slightly below average without much taste. Like most places now you have to ask for green salsa (pet peeve of mine) but don't bother bc its not good. Red salsa and Blanco queso was the. highlight of the meal. We ordered the Blue Iguana skillet and everything was way over cooked to being dry. The first time I went here with my daughter (she was very young) we sat for 15 minutes and nobody came to our table. I finally had to get up and ask for service. The restaurant was not busy. It really felt as though the staff assumed bc it was just her and I? The tip wasn’t going to be worth it. Fast forward a few years… I went to Iguana this weekend and ordered a skinny margarita. It wasn’t made how the menu had advertised, so I asked to have it re made. The second one wasn’t right either. There was almost no tequila in either drink and for $15? I was expecting to get what I paid for. The food was good but I was the only person sitting on the patio (it was 2pm the restaurant was dead) I had to get up and ask someone to take my order and then again when I was ready to pay. The Chile Con Queso was really good, I had it a long time ago in a different restaurant but I could never remember the name of it. Our server was really nice and food was served quickly.
