This is by far the coolest place in Kokomo. They have a great selection of new and used albums and they also sell sound equipment so your latest find can sound its best. They have a really cool coffee bar/lounge, too. The drinks are adventurous, if a little sweet. They also have muffins and other featured snacks. The rainbow bagel was delightful. I would spend more time and money here if I could!

Great coffee and drinks, but as a vinyl collector, they price both used and new way above any other shop. Also, they do not restock new vinyl very often. New releases are rarely available. I feel like they are shifting more to the Cafe part of the business and the music is an after thought which is a shame because the shop has a lot of potential.

One of my favorite places to go when visiting Kokomo. The used and new vinyl collection is always well stocked and I've never had anything that I didn't love from the Cafe. The atmosphere is inviting and fun with aple space and comfy seating. Most of all, their employees are top-notch with their kindness and knowledge.

Enjoyed some time sitting and chatting, listening to music and enjoying our yummy drinks. Pleasantly surprised with the kids drink options. Our boys all enjoyed them and they were very reasonably priced.

Great place, cool experience but gotta say way to pricey. Been a collector for a while now and Ive only seen prices like this on the rarities. Here not only are you paying for the vinyl but they add on the shipping plus they add on a little extra so they can make a buck

Been to Black Wax many times, I’ve never been disappointed. The drinks are amazing, and the staff members are always friendly, service is great!

Very cool spot to hang out sip some coffee and discover some physical media new and old. Even found some VHS tapes!

Absolutely love Black Wax and Black Wax Café! The employees are always helpful and very nice! My daughter has a service dog and they give him a pup cup every time we go in! The live bands sound amazing in there as well! Great atmosphere and great people! Picture of her service dog waiting patiently for his treat!

I love the friendliness of the staff and they work hard to make sure your order is accurate and tastes great! I also love that in the record side of the store they are always willing to look and see if they have specific records while you browse for things you didn’t even know you wanted/needed. If you haven’t experienced this place, make it a priority to get there soon!!

Place is a gem! So many albums it’ll take all day to go through them! Not just old stuff, they have new albums from current artist. Need a turntable? They got many to choose from. They have a CD section as well but much smaller. Cool decor and plenty of artwork, some of which is taking place on a wall Thule you’re there! Since it’ll take a few to peruse the albums…Grab a hot or cold brew from the coffee shop! Best in town in my opinion! The place is so cool, they have a stage and lounge seating with couches and chairs! It’s so cool I use it for photo shoots! Love this place! These photos are from a recent senior picture shoot that fit her personality perfectly!
