As always we had excellent service. The food was great and came out quickly as usual, and the employees are friendly. Apparently the desserts are amazing also. I wad too stuffed to order but a member in my party did order to go for s later treat. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I remember this location when it was a bar. So glad to see what they have done with the place. They have great food, great prices and the waitress's are very good at taking care of you. Also you will NOT leave here thinking that you did not get enough food for your money. I am a big fan of food and had the half chicken. It came with two sides and even dessert. My wife had to ask for a box so she could take the rest of her food home. Heck, she had another complete meal the next day. And one thing I do judge a food establishment on is how clean their restrooms are. If they don't have clean restrooms do you think they care much about your food? This restaurant has really clean restrooms, I can't say that enough. They don't stink or smell like those fast food restaurants restrooms. I really, really enjoyed this restaurant and hope they continue to do well. If you are looking for a good restaurant to eat at on a trip they are no more than a few minutes drive off of route 30 on the east end of Columbia. Pay them a visit you will not be disappointed. Today was my first visit to this diner and I was very impressed with the quality of food, service, and atmosphere. I'm not a local to Pennsylvania, so I've had a lot of disappointment in some of the places I've gotten food from during my trip. Black olive Diner was my final stop during my trip before heading back down south, and in my opinion the best value as a whole. My family and I were greeted immediately. The waitress was very pleasant and friendly. The food was very good. Huge portions and great prices. I would recommend black olive diner to anyone especially families because the menu is so vast. There's something for everyone. If I'm ever back for a visit this diner will definitely be on my list if stops. We like this family place a lot. They care, and it shows from the nice waitresses, to the manager who will greet you with a robust smile and assist in seating you as well. He will also come by again to make sure everything is good and the way it should be. Big portions of delicious food. Homemade cakes and pies round out a full menu. Always a pleasure to dine there. Great prices and great selections of fresh food, salads sandwiches and full dinners. Come hungry.
