My group of friends stopped for dinner had a great time October 30 while up fishing. All of our food was GREAT! The service was great for all the tables Sara the server was working. I work in the food industry also. She was ON FIRE! Calm and very professional. She needs to be the manager of the establishment. If you do not decide to make her the manager please contact me. I'll hire her as my manager. We will definitely be coming back.
I have to apologize for my review. I got the date wrong on when we were at your restaurant. But our server was Sarah Kuehne. Im sorry that the wrong server got the credit. We will see you all for the steel head run in 2023.

The best part of the meal was our server Christian, I'm pretty sure that was her name. She was polite, professional, friendly and the food came out quickly as ordered. It's a hole in the wall type of restaurant. Local place. We had the beef on weck. It was lacking love. Sufficient though. Place smelled like camp when I was 13. Cool little lighthouse nearby. Must be the place to be in the summer.

Very disappointing, got there at 6pm with another couple. We never got our meal until after 7pm. Other customers (that arrived after us) were receiving there meals before us. I had a fish fry, and the bottom of my fish was burned. Did not complain because for one thing, the waitress did not come back to ask us how our meals were, and i did not want to wait another hour for my food, since my other company had theirs. Our appetizer chicken wings were over cooked also. Very dry! Thinking that maybe they should hire more help, since there was only one waitress working the floor. The server was supposed to pick up the payment for the check, I had to take it out to the bar myself. My wife and I have eaten here several times before, and have never had such terrible service. Most likely we will not return to this establishment for any meals.

It is a good place to enjoy a good time out for dinner with friends and family. I had the honey salmon and was disappointed. Everyone else had different dishes and were pleased. I just won't order it again. They were short staffed in wait staff and the kitchen. I will retry them.

My wife and I were out for a late summer drive and stopped for dinner. Everyone was friendly, the atmosphere was like that of the neighborhood tavern, and the food was fresh and hot. My wife loved the lobster bisque, and we shared a soft pretzel with a very nice dip. The meals were equally as good as the view of Lake Ontario was breathtaking. We will definitely make another drive to here again.

We were able to be seated without reservations. We sat in the sunset room which was comfortable and had a beautiful view of the water. They have a new menu, the prices were reasonable. The cauliflower nachos, lobster bisque and the fish fry was very good . The waitress was friendly and was able to make recommendations.

Black North Fish Fry
We've been coming here for years and the food is almost always good and often great. The staff is great here. Can the bar area get a lil rowdier than some like, sure but it is the bar area after all. If you are in the area it's definitely worth a stop in and the current menu has got some big winners on it. If you've had a bad experience in the past, it's time to give it another shot. Every place has a bad day. I usually only go negative on places where I've eaten multiple times and it's been bad or disappointing on multiple occasions.

Overlooking the water. Near the lighthouse. I had avocado fries. Yummy. Lively place to eat. I enjoyed It! Great food. We all loved all our food. Fun atmosphere. I had pizza.
Had lunch with some folks on our bike ride. The place has a beautiful view of Lake Onario and easy to find. The wait staff was terrific, very friendly and accommodating. The food was awesome with plenty to eat! The prices were normal to other establishments we have been to. If we are ever up that way again we will definitely stop again!
