We like Black Bear Diners. Unfortunately, they were understaffed, and the staff was untrained on how to serve tables. Basic stuff like being friendly, asking if there was anything needed, spoons for soup, knives to eat with, napkins, bringing our bill, and having someone to take money at the register. Pretty basic. We'll be back. It was probably just a bad day. But some of this is due to lack of training. Wait time nearly one hour. Appears only 2 people working. Not many customers.Food somewhat cold but service good, just took forever! Standard breakfast for 2 was $51 and change!!!! Prices way too high, bathrooms smelled like there was a sewer issue...really nasty. No updates done. Clean but super worn. Not worth $51!!! Longtime customers, won't be back! Breakfast at 9am., sick by noon, vomiting until now. Are no where else today... Couldn't. Diarrhea incoming, I can feel it. Work is going to suck tomorrow. Skip this place at all costs. Go across the street to country inn. Never a problem there. Don't eat here. Price per person $20–30

Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food ⭐️ Severely under staffed 1 cook, 1 waiter, and 1 front end helper. Every black bear I’ve eaten at has always been good, but for some reason this location just sucks, and it’s been this way for over a year now. Management (if they even have any) clearly refuses to do anything about the lack of staffing, and the poor quality of food. I feel bad for the current staff because I’m sure they get harassed by un-happy customers on the daily. I ordered the Chicken bacon wrap and sweet potato fries. The wrap was swimming in ranch, and I thought the chicken were croutons at first they were so over cooked.
