5 stars because you leave very full and satisfied :) Fun atmosphere. Out wait person was wonderfully cheerful, and attentive. Even if you didn't read a positive review about this spot, you would know by the full parking lot that arriving early is a good idea. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Every time we went the service got worse and worse. The waitress was fine, but the chefs in the kitchen were either on something or they were having trouble with the large party. They made our eggs incorrectly, they burnt the pancakes so bad they werent even flat they were dried. The salad was the only thing made correctly. Restaurants shouldnt take large parties if they cant handle the workload. You also run the risk of a lower tip because large parties often dont tip appropriately. It took 40 minutes just to get our order taken. The food was good but took another 40 minutes. I never did get a refill on my coffee. When the staff did come, they were kind. It's just that we were virtually ignored in between. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

My wife and I had the prime rib special for Thanksgiving Day . Meat was cool and salty. Terrible meat. Sides were interesting. Stuffing and potatoes thick and not tasty. Breakfast was delicious. I ordered the steak and eggs. I ordered my steak rare and a lot of places when I order my steak rare at breakfast I get it cold.This steak was nice and warm It was a huge breakfast. Steak three eggs, two giant biscuits and hash browns more than I could eat. Ate all the steak and eggs and one biscuit the service was great. I ordered my food. Next thing I knew I had a plate in front of me. Well actually two plates. The biscuits are that big. Would definitely go back. Bear in mind (see what I did right there?), this is a breakfast restaurant that stays open after breakfast hours. Thus, all other menu items are kinda bolted-on after thoughts. The service is only suffering because it is impossible to hire right now, so you absolutely have to be understanding about that. We had lunch & should definitely have ordered brunchy breakfasty stuff. It was okay at best, but I know the breakfast is amazing. **UPDATE** The manager reached out and asked us to come back and let them try again. Well,this time our toast was soft because it wasn't even browned and our bacon was black. It really isn't that hard but this place seems to constantly miss the mark. Original review: Decent service, super burnt food with a "oh,did you want a free desert?" from the waitress. The wait time was about 10 minutes which is great considering that they are short-staffed like many other restaurants right now. The server was attentive and filled drinks. The food was good! I loved my vegetable omelet! The bell peppers were cooked perfectly and the spinach wasn’t soggy. It was a great family restaurant. We will definitely go there again!

We stopped here to eat. We have been to other Black Bear Diners and this one was better than some of the others. We all enjoyed our food. The service was great. While we waited for our food, we enjoyed the way they had the place decorated. When the food came, it was amazing looking. It tasted great and delicious. Two of us got the Hobo omelet and it was delicious. One got the meat omelet and it was delicious. The last person got the Turkey sandwich and it was delicious. We all love the food and service. We stopped here again and had a great time. The food was delicious, The service was great, They serve you enough food. We all enjoy ourselves, Thanks Black Bear Diner. Went for a ride and ended up in Medford, OR We had a great meal. We both had omelets. Denver omelet and Bruce meat omelet. The food was delicious and awesome Also the waitress was the best we had at any restaurant. All restaurants would be full if they had a servicer like this.
