Do not delay your visit – seriously, the French cuisine is waiting for you. Tasty French onion soup, pork chops and oysters will impress you at the first bite. This restaurant should be recommended for good vanilla ice cream, profiteroles and pecan pie. Delicious house wine, Spritz or champagne will make your meal even more delicious and you'll surely come back. This place is known for great chocolate frappe or good ice tea. The warm atmosphere of bistro maison makes guests feel relaxed and have a nice time. If you look through the visitors' comments, the staff is cute at this place. Cool service is something clients agree upon here. This spot provides dishes at fair prices. According to the reviewers' opinions, the decor is fine. This restaurant scored 4.4 in the Google rating system.

very good food 👍😃 thanks‼️❤️ Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This restaurant is perfectly named! The food is fantastic, locally sourced, contemporary presentations of traditional French dishes, and the service feels like you are in a very loving and generous! French couple’s home. The ambience is cozy and the service is attentive, well informed (including wine pairings), well timed but not rushed. The portions are intentionally large, and they provide to-go dishes for all your leftovers. Just like Mom!! Our evening was very special, and we relished in the heartfelt care that this husband and wife team have cultivated in this special restaurant!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My family and I have a tradition of going out to celebrate Solstice and this year we went to Bisto Maison and had THE BEST time. The wait staff were so nice and helpful. My wife has borderline celiac disease, and the restaurant was able to accommodate her throughout the whole meal. Our family of 5 (16 and 12 yr old boys and 10yr old girl) have some experience already with high end restaurants, our kids are pretty adventurous with trying new foods. We shared the Tapenade, Salmon Gravlax, and the Crab Cocktail. They brought my wife gluten free crackers and fingerling potatoes AAAND a serving of truffle fries for all of us. Our table was crowded with all the dishes – just the way we like to see it. After about a 10-15 minute rest/time out, our entrees arrived. Our 12 yr old and 10 yr old both ordered the NY Strip Steak burger. Our one waitstaff warned us how large the burgers are and even though we knew our kids wouldn’t finish them, we took everything home that we didn’t finish – and that included all our entrees. The kitchen staff made my wife’s Cassoulet without the breadcrumb crust, and it was phenomenal. I had the Confit (crispy skin, tender meat) and our 16 yr old son had the Steak tartar. And the wait staff was impressed with his knowledge on how it’s prepared. The meal was perfect – simply perfect. We ordered our desserts to go because we had to tap out! There were two other tables that celebrated a birthday. The staff brought a sparkler candle for each table, and everyone sang happy birthday. Since the staff learned we came to celebrate Solstice (and while we waited for our desserts) the staff lit a sparkler candle for our table and took some pictures with my phone. In short, we had a wonderful and memorable experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Not entirely a giant complaint, but enough for the restaurant to consider: The floor plan was so crowded when we were there that the whole night felt like we were being rushed through a seating to make room for the next round of carnival riders. The owner made the rounds of the dining room, in close quarters, reeking of freshly smoked cigarette. The smell stayed with us through the experience to the point I was looking for an errant ash tray placed nearby. We could not figure it out until she came around again and it became obvious. Sadly, that was just before I turned to see her digging some errant flotsam out of a dinner glass of ice water on a table nearby with her bare fingers, and leave the water glass on the table expectant of arriving diners. Given this is farm country, none of these things are surprising or even a deal breaker for myself, having grown up in similar environs, but please, owners and proprietors, take these things into account. The food was very good in a home spun way, though I could make it all at home myself with relative ease and often do. The atmosphere was quaint. Please, quit smoking. it was just such a terrible nuance to the night. We might come back if we are nearby. Might. Service Dine in Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Excellent French bistro food, but superior service. And we are picky. Good would have gotten a fifth star, but the onion soup was built on a vegetable stock - still very good, but not the traditional type we were jonesing for. Should have tried the vichyssoise - looked amazing. Seasonal hazelnut crusted pork chop was super well executed - unfortunately a bit of a fatty cut, but I don't blame them for that. Desserts .. oh damn. Just go. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Absolutely Fabulous 😍 Outstanding service provided by at least four staff. Our table for 🦃 Thanksgiving was set with appetizers, breads, sparkling water and condiments when we walked in, including materials in a large bag for taking home leftovers. Among our group of five were two vegetarians and one gluten free diner. Because EVERY category from salad/soup, entree and dessert had several delicious options, everyone was thrilled with the choices and splendid taste we savored. The four (!) attendants for our table (certainly beyond waitresses) were ever present but unobtrusive. They went above and beyond to treat me to French onion soup even though it wasn't on the menu. The music was divine. The atmosphere, conscienvious service and unforgettably delightful food and cost. C'est Magnifique!!!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
