So I go get my hair cut just a block away from Biemer's and when I was done I told the barber that I did competition bbq and asked where a good bbq place was near by and he tells me "heck is just a half a block away" I did my research and the reviews were the best in Lawrence. So I made a hop skip and a jump and there I was at Biemer's, burnt ends on point, ribs were bite through. Man what more can you ask for. Thank you Biemer's BBQ for a great experience! This is by far the best BBQ in Lawrence. I highly recommend this establishment. The food and service are fantastic. We have been coming to this establishment for over 7 years and have never had a negative experience. gonna cut straight to the point. the sign caught our attention! “we rub our meat daily.” idk what they are implying but hey, it got the attention! lol. the food was absolutely great. the vinegar based bbq was great. the hot bbq sauce was great. i love the look of the restaurant, its old but very well maintained. maybe waited 5 minutes for my food and that was it. the pulled pork sandwich was very good and the fries were super hot and seasoned just right. next time i’m in lawrence, ill be back! Definitely one of the best barbeque places I've ever been to. I got a BBQ plate with burnt ends and sausage. Both were great. For my sides I got fries and fried pickles. The fries were decent but the fried pickles were perfect. Some of the best fried pickles I've ever had. Highly recommend them. It was ok for a late dinner, although personally. I believe the heat was to high or it was overcooked. Was a bit crunchy and slightly burn't.
