We go here at least once a week if not twice when we are at our second home at the coast the staff is great !! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

OMG someone posted a picture of JoJos and since I am celebrating a trip around the sun they were a must! The bartender rocked her job and kept up commentary to let people feel relaxed and welcome. The tavern has only just opened. It was already hopping with a few regulars, helps they have slot machines, keno, and power all available for entertainment. They also had pool table and outdoor seating of which we did not avail ourselves - too bad since the place since on the Nahelm River! The JoJos did not make it to a photo - they were super hot and burned my mouth but oh so worth it. Automatically got ketchup and ranch and had not problem proving mustard - mmmm!!! The beer on tap selection is small but has good coverage. They also have a wide variety in cans and bottles, plus cider and wine. Get small town tavern and worth a stop! Loved this place. I call it a hole in the wall joint. A popular spot where the locals go to eat, socialize, and solve the pressing issues of the day, such as who has the best jojos( potato wedges) or the best place to go clamming. Angela the bartender and server was friendly, did the job well and had some fun banter about the regulars that were having lunch. The food was great. Our party ordered burgers, beer battered fries, I had a grilled cheese, too die for. They have a beer garden overlooking the water. Everyone was super nice, the place was quiet except for the chatting of the guests. Prices were reasonable, and overall I loved the whole experience. Will definitely return if I'm ever in Nehalem Oregon again.

This tavern has it billiards, karaoke, slot machines, and more making it the perfect spot for a fun night out with friends or family. But what really sets The Bayway Tavern apart is its beautiful back deck, which offers stunning views that are truly breathtaking. From the moment you walk through the door, you'll be greeted with warmth and hospitality that's hard to find these days. Despite its quiet location, The Bayway Tavern is home to a vibrant and friendly group of people who take care of each other and make you feel right at home.

They make a great coffee nudge, and have a large variety of alcohol beverages to choose. Friendly atmosphere. There are 6 gambling machines for those who feel lucky.

It was like Oasis that can drink a beers at the town ,, there are many places close early, Could not find any bar and Wheeler so came down to check out , Beers was cheap and they carried Bouy IPA $5.00 and all normal beers $3.50. Bar tender lady was nice and even next visited she remember us to offer way of make Irish coffee.

First of all, Beth pours the nicest Long Island you can find anywhere along the coast. We stumbled upon this friendly place accidentally during another drive to the coast, and will be visiting again. When we arrived, we got the go-ahead to dine outside on a beautiful back patio with comfy chairs and sofas, overlooking the river. Lastly, get the tater tots. They make their own ranch dressing dip, and it's a 12/10 from me!

Love dive bars and this place did not disappoint. Small tap list but good selection. There is a homemade pepper infused vodka for bloody marys. Cool deck on the water. There is a stein, shot glass and oversized lure collection. Didn't try any food, but the fish and chips looked a amazing.

Had a great time with good friends ,food was good drinks are great ,awesome patio on the bay Locals are inviting. Got to Watch deer swimming across from the island , I recommend this place if in the area
