I love the atmosphere there, I'm kind of curious as to why they are renovating... I really hope they don't "modernize" the charm out of the place. The food was fine, Everyone left full and content. We just did lunch and did not order anything that anybody would care to read about here. Just burger type stuff. But everything was fine. And the fries were exceptional. The big draw here is the atmosphere and scenery. Which, admittedly are much better in the warm months as you are afforded a direct view of lake Erie from much of the restaurant. There is a charming bar that could definitely lure me after work if I worked in downtown Erie. One major suggestion- getting to this place is a challenge if you have not been before. Signage at the entrance and along the very convoluted entry drive is almost non-existent. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My bestie surprised me and took me out for breakfast this morning. Rented and igloo and the experience was wonderful. Even though I’m happy there wasn’t any snow I wish it was snowing to enhance the experience. Our server Anita was absolutely amazing! She was polite, catering and seemed to enjoy people. This was an absolute impeccable experience; the atmosphere (igloo), the service, and the food... Amazing. There was a minor goof up with one of our meals being delayed and without a thought they removed it from our bill. All of the staff were friendly (Kylee was a fabulous server). We just loved it. A group of ladies from the office reserved an igloo for our get together. First time dining in an igloo. What a fun idea. Gorgeous views of Presque Isle Bay. It was nicely decorated with champagne. We enjoyed our music via the Bluetooth speaker inside. Our server Jessica was outstanding and provided us top-notch service. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the Cauliflower Steak, and it was fantastic - very flavorful. The place was awesome. We reserved an igloo and it was decorated nicely with champagne and even a Bluetooth speaker. Danielle T was great, very knowledgeable about the menu and all around wonderful. Beautiful view of the lake, food was delicious and perfectly prepared. We ordered cocktails, apps, entrees, and desserts - all were excellent. Service was impeccable - Jennifer was cheerful, friendly, and made all the perfect recommendations. Absolutely recommend! This is a fairly nice hotel and it has a decent restaurant with out door seating available. About half of the tables have shade while the rest don't. So be aware if it's around noon the sun will be hot if you are unable to secure a table with an umbrella canopy. All and all the service has been decent every time I have eaten here and the food that I have eaten was good. This last time I had a seafood bisc with a couple of shrimp added for an additional 5$. The crab is not imitation (I asked)and it is delicious. I also have a flatbread from the appetizer menu that was also delicious , and my wife had a strawberry salad of some sort that I tried which was also great . Beautiful view. The service was excellent. The food was amazing!! We had breakfast this morning, and it was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a while. It’s good restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We went for brunch and stayed in igloo enjoying beautiful view of waterfront Presque Isle Bay, server and staffs are friendly. We appreciate the way server helped us choosing our menu for brunch and drink. If you are getting an igloo it has a reservation cost. Overall it could be your best option in Erie if you are looking for a good looking waterfront restaurant with clean ambience and good choices of meals and drinks. The restaurant is located at the Sheraton hotel. The drinks were reasonably priced and delicious. The outdoor igloo tables facing the bay were cool but still cold when it's 30 degrees outside. We had their daily special French onion soup, which was a little bland. The fish and chips I don't recommend. The fish was crispy, but it was very bland. The fries were crispy and good.
