While traveling on business we chose this place for dinner. Always like to eat local & support local businesses. We arrived just after 7PM and the restaurant was rather busy. We weed quickly seated and our drinks were quickly brought to us. We ordered the Tumbleweed Onion strings - it was mediocre. I believe if they were cooked just a little longer they may have been better. Reviewing the menu we decided on steaks. I ordered the 8 oz Filet Migon this came with two sides. I chose the Sweet Potato but they were already sold out. Instead I went with fries & steamed veggies. The meal came and I’m decided too ask for ketchup & Heinz 57 just in case. The fries were cold and yes I could have sent them back but it was late so I skipped eating them. Just can’t eat cold fries. The steak was a bit fatty but had great flavor so no need for the Heinz 57! Passed on dessert because I typically dummy eat this late. Overall this was a good place to eat if you are passing through. This is one of the best restaurants in West Texas. Everything is large in here, including the steaks. My 12-ounce had to be at least 16! There is a great salad bar with soups, pasta and green salads. You won't be able to finish before your meal arrives. The waitress is always nearby. They do NOT serve alcohol, but you can bring your own. The prices are cheap for what you get. We have been here several times in the past few years. This is local owned restaurant. Do not expect Texas Roadhouse / longhorn type food, but for a local business, it’s not bad. Service i give an (A+) atmosphere I give an (A) Price I give a (B) restroom could use some attention I give it a (C-) parking even if towing a trailer I give an (A+) I don’t eat salads, but the salad bar looks decent and they do have hot soup/beef stew, and beans at the bar. I do not drink so I could not tell you if they serve alcohol or not but I do not think they do. I have seen people coming in with their own alcohol. They normally have specials on Sundays.
