I don’t know why people have something to complain about - whether Caribbean authentic or not, this spot hits the SPOT. It’s kind of discriminatory to judge food just because it wasn’t cooked by someone of Caribbean descent. Anyways, I’ve been here about 2 times. The people, cashiers, really everyone there have a welcoming vibe to them. Though I was just here to pick up food, the cashiers and people here are welcoming and kind. People wonder why they didn’t get good service; it’s most likely because you had an attitude. Be grateful, show love and be kind. If you didn’t enjoy it, it’s all good: just hand your plate to me and I’ll devour it like it’s my last meal on Earth. If someone asked me what i would order here, I would suggest ordered the Jerk Chicken and Beef Oxtail plate combo. You will NOT REGRET; then again, if you do regret it pass me your plate so I can enjoy it to each last drop. 😂 WAGWAN BRUDDA! Delicious food. I love the jerk pork and jerk chicken. The rice and beans are always craveable. Their oxtails are fantastic. The Menlo Park location is just a tiny little place with little seating. I usually go there to pick up some take-out. This is the type of food that keeps well on the drive home, or off to some park where I can eat with some sunshine. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Amaaazing food. I was in the area for work and wanted to try something different. I had never had Jamaican food so I asked the woman at the counter what I should get so that I can try a good variety. I got the jerk, chicken and oxtail combo. The flavor is the sauces. Everything is out of control. I cannot stop eating it and brought the leftovers home to my husband who also devoured it. Jerk Chicken and Oxtail Combo ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Well seasoned and very large portion. Certainly enough for 2 people to split. Comes with one additional jerk sauce. Seemed to have forgotten my plantains. Will reach out to collect later. Festival Jamaican Cornbread: I’ve never had this so was not sure what to expect. Reminds me of a doughnut texture but not too sweet. Loved it! Comes with plenty! Ginger beer: delicious! Collard Greens: (not pictured) tasty, great hint of vinegar. Vegetarian and still well seasoned. Traditional take out spot. Few street parking spots out front! Will be back!
