This was one of my mother's favorite restaurants. She had Celiac disease and she said they had the best tasting gluten free food. We ate as a family after she passed in her memory. Arrived around 6 PM and the place was busy but plenty of parking. Appeared to be a brisk Door Dash business as well. Our hostess, Joyce told us there would be an approximate half hour wait. She was amazing in the face of all this bustle. Kept her cool and always courteous. Our server was also on the ball refilling drinks and serving food. Personally, I was surprised by the number of families with small children. Nice to see. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was here yesterday at 3. 1-7-24 for my mother in laws birthday. I always hype up applebees to my friends that you guys have really gone uphill. Service great, food great. Yesterday was a disappointment. Our waitress named Janine was the worst we ever had. She was fake nice. My mother in law who was a waitress for 30 years and very kind soft spoken woman, had asked her politely if she could have her side salad. It wasn't crowded at all. Hardly anyone there. It took a good while for two appetizers and a side salad. The waitress had an attitude when she asked and when she brought salad out she basically said here's ur salad with a deep tone. Then what was actually comical and ridiculous to say, was my mother in law had asked for an iced tea to go. Free refills. Hubby and I do it quite often. Waitresses never mind. Soft drinks are expensive so why not take one to go? My mother in law had politely asked for sweet n low. Janine the waitress who was clearly perturbed/annoyed for whatever reason had the nerve to say don't you have any? Why yes my mother in law carries sweet n low in her purse. It was silly and ridiculous she even asked. She was rude and shouldn't be a waitress if u can't handle a slow day at a restaurant. We will be sure to not have her as our waitress again!
