My recent visit to Applebee's Montrose on 03/06/2024 was nothing short of a disaster, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others. My party and I endured an appalling level of service and witnessed unprofessional behavior from the staff that left us shocked and dismayed.
Upon entering, it was evident that something was terribly wrong. They told us they were told to turn the heat down because the kitchen was too hot 82 degrees; especially with our party. We about froze. Despite spending $300, we endured an agonizingly long wait for our orders. Shockingly, it took an outrageous 71 minutes before we received our first appetizer. This level of incompetence is utterly unacceptable and reflects poorly on the establishment.
As if the delays weren’t bad enough, our attempts to address the issue with the manager, Sabrina, were met with outright hostility. Instead of acknowledging our concerns, Sabrina proceeded to scream at us and forcibly ejected us from the premises. It was as if she couldn’t handle any form of constructive criticism and resorted to intimidation tactics to silence us.
What’s worse is that our concerns were completely valid. We were simply trying to communicate the numerous lapses in service quality, but instead of taking responsibility, the staff chose to attack us. It was a complete and utter disregard for customer satisfaction.
Adding insult to injury, it became apparent that the manager, Sabrina, spent the majority of our wait time attending to personal matters, such as cooking dinner for her family, who entered way later than our party. This negligence is simply inexcusable and demonstrates a lack of dedication to her role and responsibilities.
Furthermore, the behavior exhibited by server Morgan only exacerbated the situation, as they actively contributed to the hostility and tension throughout our ordeal. To make matters worse, bartender Ryan threatened to involve the authorities, further escalating the situation unnecessarily.
Needless to say, not only did we endure excruciatingly long wait times, but we also never received the food we ordered. It is appalling that we paid $300 and left hungry and thoroughly dissatisfied with the entire experience.
In conclusion, if you value your time and money, steer clear of Applebee's Montrose. The abysmal service, unprofessional conduct, and blatant disregard for customer satisfaction make it a regrettable dining choice. I wouldn't even grant this establishment a single star if given the option.

We went during lunch yet there was only one waitress (who was also the hostess) and the bartender out front. The food was alright, an order got mixed up but they were very amiable about correcting it. However, although we were one of the less than five parties in the restaurant, we had a hard time getting service as the waitress was in the kitchen the majority of the time.
Side note, it was freezing in the restaurant! We kept our coats on the entire time and were still chilly.

A group of us all had the fish and chips for a late lunch. The waitress was friendly and fun, and the guy who brought the food from the kitchen was joking with us.
BTW, the food was very good, and a bargain (except for the cole slaw, which seems to be poor everywhere, including Bob Evans).👍

Food was about as good as Applebee's gets service and atmosphere was good.
But I was asked to disarm myself before I walked in with a Faceless sign sounds as if Applebee's wants to make sure all their customers are sheep ripe for the picking there was no security provided it's just a shame when a corporation can change the constitution for their own agendas at the same time playing games with peoples life's I always thought Applebee's was a great place to eat it's a shame I won't be able to go back anymore but my Family's safety has to come first over convenience!

We had the 2 for $25 special. My sirloin was a perfect mid rare and my daughter's chicken was tender and juicy. I would recommend!
