I went back after 2 years to try it again. The location in Bell Rd. I last went to was a bad experience, and the owner did reach out and give me a gift card to try again. I'd forgotten about it until I came across it recently, and as I'd moved,I decided to try the closer location. The food was great and we got right in. Our wait person was just attentive enough, without hovering. The food was excellent and we didn't wait long. Only complaint I had was our appetizer came AFTER our meal was served. One additional bonus was the gift card was twice the amount I thought it was for, so that was a nice surprise. Still an expensive place to eat but fun for the occasional treat. Service was great and most of my food was great. The pickles were a bit salty, but I've never had fried pickles, maybe that's how they should taste. Still, a great night with the family. Great customer service! My seafood bag (I just get shrimp and sausage) is always good. My lobster rolls are typically good, but it’s been a hit or miss on the bread. I am not sure if you all are using a new bread (it is darker), but I would advise going back to the old bread, for that top tier taste! Will add pics of what I mean, regarding the bread. Went for my son's 30th birthday. We had 5 adults and 3 kids. Heating lamp on patio burned out and no one relit it...king crab legs were a very small size. Service was awful. We got seated quickly outdoors but no one the gave us menus or prices. Then they served dinner to everyone but kids last. They were 1, 5, and 7. And my daughter very last long after she took her insulin units. Tip was included in bill otherwise they would not have received any. The jambalaya I had was good and the fried pickles and calamari were excellent 👍 The only great thing was the gentleman who came out and sang Happy Birthday with full energy! Loved it But cost a fortune for a minimal product. Won't go back POST NOTE Manager called me and invited us to a give them another chance. Very surprised but happy someone reached out. I come here all the time when I’m feeling like some Cajun food would hit the spot. Jose and his crew who was working was on point. Customer service is number one for me, they rocked it. Everyone i encounter was kind, polite and informative about when my order will be ready. Food is my next important factor and the food always slap. Thank Yall. I wished I had a better experience but that wasn’t the case. Truly a terrible experience and it was my first and most definitely last time going there. We were sat outside which we didn’t mind because we saw outdoor heaters and only to find out they had no propane gas which is why none of them could be turned on.. that was just the beginning. After we placed our ordered the Selfish combo $70 total meal for 2 the waitress comes back to inform us as everyone’s food is already arriving that they don’t have blue mussels.. and in exchange would give us Cajun fries? I asked if I could sub for green mussels and then she said her manager said no. Waitress comes back after talking with manager to see what they could do to find out now they have 0 mussels now neither green and blue and we weren’t allowed to sub for anything else but fries?! Like how does that make any sense to switch fries for 1lb worth of mussels? Instead we canceled that whole order and decided to order a different combo instead. In which I ordered there basic combo $30 and my husband ordered a po boy sandwich. We waited 40 mins for our food and in between that wait we were brought out sides from pervious order even though we canceled them. Everyone was done with there food when mine arrived and it was missing my egg, potatoes, and rice. At that point I just gave up because it was issues after issues. Not only did I have to eat my food alone and rushed while everyone waited, my tab had the sides that should have been canceled, the manager never came out to talk with us on all these issues or try to compensate anything. The only great thing was the waitress friendly and kind attitude. She basically even said herself she’s not sure what’s going on with the kitchen stuff and she wasn’t allowed to compensate us in anyway. I will not be returning and do not recommend as it’s on the pricy end and the food quality doesn’t match the price tag. Great food and service. The server was friendly and memorable, made us feel comfortable, and always available to help. The food was very good. I would've given them 5 stars, but their bathrooms smell terrible. They really need to take care of this, as they have an issue with the plumbing probably. First time dining here and I am a Satisfied Customer and will be returning to this place... Our waiter was on point and made sure we had what we needed at all times... I demolished the whole bag... Every piece of shrimp, sausage, crab legs the potatoe and corn was great... Kinda pricey but worth it.... No forks or knifes... I put on the gloves and the bib!!!
