Update Feb 2024: The idly and vada have sadly become really bad. Vada tastes like it's been fried multiple times and feels rubbery. Idly isn't soft and has a strange texture. I've tried it multiple times to make sure it wasn't just an off day. Luckily, the rest of their food (especially the rice dishes) is still excellent, but something has happened with their idly/vada. Original review: Usually Indian restaurants start off well and then go downhill in quality or service, but these guys have been consistently great since they opened. It’s the best South Indian food in the Bay Area (yes, better than the South Bay). My only complaint is the ambiance, paper plates and utensils feel cheap and the lighting inside feels like a hospital. But the food is great and I hope they maintain the quality in the future. Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

Outdoor seating works well! Attentive staff to welcome you to the restaurant and the food is picture perfect when brought out. The Bonda we ordered is not the same as the potato bonda from Northern part of India. Every thing we ordered was piping hot. Their soft drinks did not include diet soft drinks which is the reason for the 4 stars. Will definitely visit again. Semi self-serve where they bring your order to the table. I hope they continue to provide service with smiles! Will visit again. 2/24/24 Visited again, thali was disappointing, it was so cold and the entrees were not very flavorful. It seemed like they fried the premade “roti” sold at Costco in the name of puri/bhatura. Mysore masala dosa was good. Service Dine in Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I love this place. Vegetarian and a lot of choices from Dosa perspective. I am on a mission to try all the dosas and have visited this place atleast 10 times now. Love it, delicious and reasonable food. Meal type Brunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
