Get there early on weekends if you want a seat at the bar. Packed on Saturday night. Great drinks, service and the food was really good. Chicken sandwiches were excellent.

I haven’t tried any food or drinks here because I wasn’t able to. As soon as me and my friends walked in it was awkward. it was around 9 pm and there were 4 people at the bar who knew the bartender and they all looked at us like we werent welcome. Me and my 2 friends decided to first go to the bathroom, I knocked on the door to see if anyone was in there, there was, so we waited. The girl came out and we went into bathroom, as soon as we were finished and walked out of the bathroom we were told we needed to leave. It was the most bizarre thing I have ever encountered. I still have no idea why we were told to leave. I’m assuming because they only wanted their friends at the bar? But still not a clear reason. I am a bartender and would never make a customer feel so unwelcome for no reason. I will never go back here

Cool place with decent food, and a huge selection of whiskey drinks. Obviously. Live band playing when we were there which was a little louder than it needed to be, but still entertaining.

Pecan Pie
Walking in there was a very lively atmosphere with live music. The person was quite talented singing. The drinks, especially the caramel banana old fashioned were delicious. I tried the chicken and waffle sandwich and it was very good and the fries and aioli were very tasty. I was very happy with everything about this place and will definitely go back to try other things on the menu , both food and drinks.

Went to American Standard Whiskey Bar tonight. Was an absolute great experience.
We went early around 5:30pm. Place was already busy, but we sat right away. Live guitar singer, she was excellent and not too loud. Took requests and also had a full list of songs available to play.
Kay was our server. She was great from start to finish..
My wife has an allergy, gluten and they had plenty of options for her. Removing things off of dishes, substitutes, took it very seriously which was great. Also, most of their apps are Vegan and Gluten Free already.
We ordered wings and Brussels sprouts. Kay suggested getting the passion fruit habanero wings.. they were excellent. Even the homemade blue cheese was great. Brussels sprouts were also excellent, couldn't finish the portion, had to bring it home.
We ordered salmon, and the chicken fried steak.. both were cooked perfect. Good came out quick and hot, but we never felt rushed.
The portions were large enough for us to have some to take home..
Kay suggested the chicken fried steak and I am glad she did it was so good.
My wife had two mojitos, the peach and the watermelon. I had two different bourbon choices. One of my own, and one suggestion.
We were check on 4-5 times throughout the night.
Really they did a great job with the ambience and the vibe of the place.
Give it a chance if you havnt.
