I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at American Flatbread Burlington Hearth. The New Vermont Sausage was excellent, and the service was very good. However, I was disappointed by the limited appetizer options, as the menu only offered soup and salad. Capstone to the delightful dining experience, the brownie à la mode for dessert was nothing short of amazing. First time me and the family visit Burlington, VT. We didn’t know anything about the place so we decided to do a spin the wheel with a couple different restaurants and landed on this spot. SO HAPPY WE GOT TO EAT HERE. This pizza spot is absolutely incredible. Hands down one of the best flatbreads i’ve ever had. If not THE best. Me and the family absolutely enjoyed it and their beers are quite the selection. Incredible atmosphere with the most sweetest waiters. Place is a complete vibe. Long lines to get in. Food was delicious! The restaurant is loud AF the acoustics aren't set up well so the noise carries. The server was very knowledgeable and nice, but wasn't very attentive and didn't fill drinks during our visit. Overall good experience. Even with less than stellar service we had a great time here. The food was outstanding and being seated right by the pizza oven it was like dinner and a show. New Vermont Sausage pizza and the Meat Special were both fantastic! Couldn't recommend this place highly enough, just hope you don't end up with a server more worried about getting to her break than providing the service that would make this place a perfect experience.
