My bridesmaids & I went here the night before my wedding. We had the most amazing experience with Bailey as our wine connoisseur! Bailey made sure we were taken care of every step of the way, and did everything for us to get the perfect picture 😊 will be going back for sure!!!
Alit has a great space for tasting and wonderful charcuterie boards. They give a 45% discount to wine club members for $130 club entry. Their wines are a great way to explore Dundee wines, Bring friends to one of their many food truck/music events!blots if parking in the back.
My guy and I stopped by on our way through town Saturday before close. We had the best time at the bar tasting and chatting with staff. They were so kind, knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk with! The wines were all absolutely AMAZING, I don't know if I can pick one favorite. Definitely a treasure & treat, thank you for the hospitality!!!
Awesome wine in a cool space right off the main drag. Very clean and modern decor. The staff were very friendly and the music playing was great! Much more reasonably priced flight than the places nearby. They were able to get us in without a reservation easily which was great. Love this spot!
Stopped in for an unscheduled tasting and we were quickly greeted. The building is a very airy, and modern. The server informed us that it was built into an old gas station, which we wouldn’t have guessed if he hadn’t told us! It offered a variety of indoor and outdoor seating options. We both tried the Pinot flights. Not only were the wines wonderful, but the server also went into detail on the winery’s history, location, and their own unique, scientific approach to wine, including their research into the soil and Bed rock of their vineyards. The have a number of scientists and wine experts that all contribute to this. They continued to show us pictures of trenches in the vineyards, how vines grow (made into pretty chandeliers inside) in different soil types, and various maps of the vineyard with different elevations, soil types, and electrical currents. It was a truly fascinating and unique experience. I’d love to go again on my next visit to the area to hear about any new developments or hypothesis on their research— in addition to buying their wonderful wines again.
We had a very unexpected and completely wonderful time at Alit. We went there on a Wednesday to have a light lunch and taste a wine or two and really weren't expecting much more. But when Cameron started telling us about the wines we got interested (he's really good at describing the terroir and what it imparts to the wines). We ended up tasting a number of wonderful wines
and buying quite a few of them. Thanks Cameron!
Great wines and even better customer service! We first tried their wine at a restaurant where a sommelier recommended it for us. Highly recommend Alit wines!
I had a very enjoyable tasting of Rose & Arrow wines at the Alit Wine tasting room. The facility is modern, extremely clean, and followed safe, yet sane, Covid-19 protocols.
Sam was great. She had my table all set up before I arrived, greeted me when I arrived, and guided me through 6 samples of Rose & Arrow Pinot Noir. She provided me with detailed responses to any questions I had, and was friendly to interact with. I purchased a lovely bottle of 2017 Gathered Stones.
I will certainly return to try other offerings during subsequent visits to the Dundee area.
