We like coming here for the lunch buffet and dinner. The steak is really good. But, I was shocked today when I ordered the carrot cake that said it serves 4 people and costs $16.00, came out as 1 slice of cake. No matter how you spin it, it’s still 1 slice of cake for $16.00. Yes, it’s a big piece of cake. Just not what I was expecting, I guess. Just putting that out there, so nobody else is as shocked as I was when I opened the box to see what I paid $20 for after tax and tip😳for a to go piece of cake…. My ribeye was one of the best I've ever had, and I've eaten a few over the years. The baked Mac and cheese wasn't much to write home about, but the fries were great. The bread pudding rivaled the phenomenonal steak for the highlight of the meal. A hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps helped to beat the frigid weather when I first came inside. This place has amazing food, it has a wonderful atmosphere, it is very welcoming as well as the waitresses and staff. Every piece of food or sauce I tried was very flavorful and was just very yummy. The pies oh my they were so good! The fish the chicken just everything was on point. If I could give it 10 stars I would.. amazing service, friendly staff and just wonderful food. This was a great evening. The setting is very nice and the waitress was excellent. We had a party of 11 and they worked us in quickly. My wife got the filet and it was one of the better ones that she has had. I got the liver and onions and they were excellent! I also had an old fashion that was very good. Great airport based restaurant. Well decorated and clean. Doesn't have the feel of a church social hall like a lot of airport cafe's do. While most people get the buffet you can order off the menu as well. Full bar for your passengers. Tower is nice and there are a number of approaches if you are coming in IFR.
