The pesto sandwich was so delicious. And I loved the earl grey biscuit they had. The team were very nice and welcoming. The only downside was the music was a bit too loud in my opinion, considering it's also a work/study environment. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent coffee and breakfast joint right in the midst of Kirkland , close to the parks and the trails. Tried their seasonal coffee which was really good along with a warmed almond croissant Definitely recommend to try this joint out if you are in the vicinity. Extremely disappointed in this shop. We just went in there and asked for coffee in a ceramic mug, but the staff refused to serve it in a ceramic mug saying they were backed up and wouldn't have time to wash the mug. We explained that we preferred not to use paper or plastic because you know the earth is dying. And all that stuff. But the staffer said they were not able to do it. This seems to be a ridiculous policy prioritizing not wanting to wash a mug over the Earth. Again See above. The Earth is dying. We should all try to do a little more like not constantly use paper and plastic for everything
