Unfortunately their service has gotten worse at the Conyers location. Called to order take out and was placed on hold for over 10 minutes. Then tried calling a short time later and the phone was just hung up. Even tried a third time a little while after and was placed on hold again. Whoever was working this evening needs to go through some phone etiquette training. Oh well...I went to Johnny's for the first time and got some equally good pizza. Alex was our server, which is the BEST!!! He is always very nice and on time! Our pizza was not cooked correctly and he tried to fix it, and then sent it back and it came back out and it was good! I'll always ask if he is serving and if he is full, I don't mind waiting until a table is available in his section. We love this place and have always had a great experience. Until this past week. The pizza crust was the thickness of a quarter and tasted like cardboard. If it had been one pizza, I could imagine we accidentally got gluten free. We ordered 2 different pizzas and the crust was terrible on both. We do not approve of the new recipe. I used to love coming here with my friends and family. The establishment was recently remodeled. However when I came to visit this past weekend, my friend ordered a Jerk Chicken Caesar Salad and to our surprise, she found a nail in her salad! Not a fingernail…a nail that you drill into the wall! Our waiter compensated us by taking the salad off the tab and giving us a discount. In my opinion, the table should’ve been free. Cause had she bit into that nail, it would have been a different story. And a nail cant possibly be that hard to miss ESPECIALLY when prepping a meal that consists of only lettuce, chicken, and dressing. I’ve sent a complaint to the Rockdale County Health Department and would suggest that whoever made the salad be removed from the line! Will not be eating at this location again! So this place could be good but the prices are just unrealistic. Their basis is because of fresh ingredients and filtered water pizza??? 1: you should be using filtered water since the public water here in GA is not safe to drink. -If you order a salad and only swap a cheese that’s an extra $2+. For Example, the elevated Cobb: description —>Antibiotic-free Springer Mountain Farms chicken, applewood-smoked bacon, fresh avocados, crumbled bleu cheese and sliced Roma tomatoes on a bed of chopped romaine lettuce— I take off the bleu cheese and put Parmesan(+2$) and add croutons(+$2) that takes this $14 salad to over $19+. If you touch any ingredient's the price will bump up over $5 per dish. An that’s just the salads. The pizzas are worse. The minimum price I’ve paid for a medium pizza is like $25+ and it’s a small sized medium pizza. The prices of these pizzas will get you a huge pizza up north with the same fresh ingredients. Advertising that you guys use clean water and fresh meats which are expected from any decent restaurants these days, >>>to not poison your customersssss<<< Does not mean the prices should be triple the normal rates for smaller portions.
