I had the chicken & waffles. Unbeknownst to me, they plopped on a whole chicken thigh, which is my least favorite part of a chicken. The menu did not say it would be a chicken thigh. You should put that on the menu. I was disappointed, to say the least. The waffle was good, however. Our server was Shauna. She was very nice & the food came quickly. Happy hour sales are extremely confusing and misleading. We were charged full price for the "spicy" bloody mary because it is not considered a "cocktail" while the regular and the bacon bloody marys are. We waited and waited for a manager to address the issue and they didn't even have enough respect for us to come out and discuss the matter. I do not recommend CG Public House.

We had a party in a side room from the main restaurant, and the service was prompt, and finger foods were tasty. Walked a very short distance to order drinks at the bar. I've ordered food for delivery a couple times and everytime it sucks. This time I got the chicken fried steak sandwhich and if you like bland nothing on bread then I recommend it. The gravy had enough lumps of uncooked flour in it, that I could have made my own gravy with it. Nachos aren't hard to make and you took a dump on those as well. Service Delivery Food: 2

We checked out this restaurant before making a holiday reservation. Good thing we did. I got the corned beef hash. It was awful. It was a stringy, fatty mess. The chunks of potato were half raw. The eggs that came with were bland, the hash browns were okay. Partner had the biscuits and gravy, he said the biscuits were just weird lumps of bread, and the gravy was dry and not enough of it. Very few patrons there when we were seated. Our order was taken, then we waited 40 minutes, nothing. When a very large table that ordered 15 min after us got their food, we said that's enough we're leaving. We were told there was a mix up in the kitchen with our ticket so still no food. They were running around like chickens, poor management for a Sunday morning. People were lined up to be seated, some leaving because they waited so long. Went to Sterlings, quickly seated, order taken immediately and food arrived right away. Good food, good service and MUCH cheaper. Won't be going back to CG! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I'm pretty sure that it was an off day because I've had their food before but today wasn't stellar. I ordered their chicken and waffle and was disappointed. The waffle was cool, it wouldn't melt the whipped butter, and the waffle had some undercooked spots. The chicken was warmer and juicy so I was ok on that, but it was just bland...like nothing no salt no pepper...nothing. I get that sometimes you adjust to make it better for people with dietary restrictions...but....if they're ordering chicken and waffles...they've pretty much thrown the restrictions out the window. I feel like today was just off, maybe the timing on the waffles and fried chicken was bad or something, but yeah, just not really happy with today. We had CG cater for our wedding and Fran was absolutely amazing! So professional and helpful with all our questions, and the food was beyond delicious. We had Tuscan stuffed chicken for all of our guests and we can not rave about it enough!! So delicious, and the staff that helped out the day of were so polite and amazing. Excellent breakfast spot with good food in comfortable setting. Loved the bisucits and gravy but wish they had just a little more gravy. Bottomless mimosas are a must here as well. Staff is friendly and fast. Service Dine in Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
